Superbacker Damn this to Hell!;) The cursed time difference between the United States and Her Majesty’s Colony of New South Wales plus the fact that my employer’s “Internet Sheriff” rather unsportingly blocks access to Kickstarter have ensured that I missed out on the Classic Boxed Set / Ultimate Fan Classic Boxed Set. I’d gladly sell the un-mortgaged portion of my soul (plus a kidney) to get my hands on either of those sets. What’s the point of gainful employment if one cannot subsequently spend one’s dough on the ultimate RPG package?;) •. @Dale question 1) This is a reprint of the Original 1996 version of the game which is actually the granddaddy of the Savage Worlds system. You will see a lot of familiar things in it.

Question 2) 'Good Intentions ' Is designed for the Savage World edition of Deadlands and You will need to grab copies of the SW Deadlands Reloaded Players and Marshals Guides to use it unless you want to specifically play classic edition. There will be a conversion guide coming with the books. As a side note if you really want the full Deadlands Reloaded experience grab copies of 'The Flood', 'Last Sons' and 'Stone and a Hard Place ' While you are at it. If you want to go with a great Deadlands Classic experience go with the 'Heart of Darkness 'Trilogy of adventures. You will thank me later •. Superbacker So I've never played Deadlands before, but I've always been interested in it but I'm trying to figure this out. Deadlands - released in 1996, the original version.

Deadlands: Reloaded - released in 2006 by Pinnacle games to use the Savage Worlds system. So, my two questions are 1.) Is this a re-release of the original edition (because 20th anniversary) or is it the Savage Worlds version (as indicated by the cover). 2.) On the Good Intentions KS it says 'Good Intentions requires the Savage Worlds core rules, Deadlands Reloaded Player's Guide, and Deadlands Reloaded Marshal's Handbook to play. ' If I already have the core rules, does this cover both books or just the player's guide? Had to go for the top level. We started playing Deadlands in 1996 right when it came out. Best game ever, in my opinion, for having a ruleset that just oozed setting flavor.

Lots of other games have great settings and great rules, but no other game has ever married those two together so well. Savage Worlds is great, but it just feels wrong to play Deadlands with it. Savage Worlds has a lot of the core design ideas in it that were birthed in Deadlands, but to be a truly generic system, a lot of the Deadlands essence had to be lost. Superbacker ya i backed it could not resist going all in the 500 tier. I have played deadlands allot of over the years and a chance to get a revised 2oth of the original rules was to much not to go all in.

The digital collection that includes all the books from classic deadlands. I figured that heel on earth and lost colony were not included is there there own brand. The poker chips there is enough to play with a 4 man group or is there enough to effectively run a full 8 man group. Been running deadlands for years and never used the chips i just used the counter gems from magic the gathering in there place when i run.
